Lalu has a 'serpent-like' grip on Rly: Sena

Mumbai, November 24:: Holding Railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav responsible for sidelining Maharashtrians in railway jobs, Shiv Sena on Monday said this was happening because he has a "serpent's grip" on the Railways. There has been problems in Bangalore and chennai before Mumbai. All trains terminating in eastern UP has been made to terminate in Bihar (Ganga Cauvery Express). Zonal headquarters from Kolkata has been pushed to Bihar. Factories without any logic are coming up in Bihar. The water bottling contract and other contracts have gone to Biharis. All Railway Ministers do something special for their state but Laloo is going overboard about it. Such violent actions by MNS was just waiting to happen.

In the Shatabdi Express running in south, if one tastes the iddly or the lunch or dinner, he will realise the need to employ the locals toprepare the iddlys or meals! The present system of awarding catering contracts to "outsiders" is not benefitting the locals who form the mjority of the travelling public!
