Re: nehaBy: SreeNeha.CG | Thursday , 19 Nov '09 17:26:43 PM Reply | Forward aptitude plays an majore roll in decision making rather to mug up all the years and acts its someting creative and useful. The thing is it it somewhat toughe for rural student to get coaching
Highly elitist Move...By: Vinay | Thursday , 19 Nov '09 13:26:38 PM Reply | Forward This move by UPSC favors elite students of city who can afford costly coaching. There should be NO change in the current pattern. It is not the exam pattern which has to change it is the system which has to be changed. Administration reforms should start from the MPs MLAs Themselves and then the bureaucrats. All the recommendations are brainless and are just proposed to show that they have made some study and want to see the change. They just want to create confusion amongs students. Aptitude test is a bad idea..Restriction on attempts on presumption of advantage of memorisation holds no justification cause its the patience and risk taking of candidate which has to be considered. And if they want ot lower the age for attempt than the age restriction for voting and marriage should also be brought down.

replacing preliminary with aptitude test....... IS GOOD FOR ARTS ASPIRIENT??????????By: JATIN R | Tuesday , 17 Nov '09 16:34:51 PM Reply | Forward i personally feel that replacing preliminary with aptitude is really gonna hit people from arts background since its really hard to cope up with maths or science subjects.A change is always welcome but it should be rendered equal to all common people who all are writing this exam,A change is always welcome.but who belongs to rural area concerned , should not reduce the age limit and attempts.
Aptitude ! Welcome .....Will it really filter the bureaucracy ???By: M.S.UPPAL | Monday , 16 Nov '09 23:00:25 PM Reply | Forward I welcome to the idea of AT in ICS,somehow it is needed but who will b affected????????? The overall merit will decrease due to new changes. The idea to give the responsibility of Nation to younger one is not satisfactory. It is not a job it is responsibility to direct the Nation so younger or we can say teenage boys serve best in Armed Forces cause their virility or ebullience will be meaning full, Civil service is a job of patience to solve the social problems. If we want to Obliterate the corruption then we must need innovation in our judiciary system, give the punishment corrupt Political Leaders who are pedestal of corruption and turbulence and set up new precedent. INDIA NEED THIS TYPE OF INNOVATION.

need for AT in prelims?????By: uthara r nair | Sunday , 15 Nov '09 15:26:30 PM Reply | Forward i personally feel that replacing preliminary with aptitude is really gonna hit people from arts background since its really hard to cope up with maths or science subjects.A change is always welcome but it should be rendered equal to all common people who all are writing this exam, that is,questions from all subjects should be equal so that there wont be any problem with arts or science background graduates.Last but not the least our aim in CS examination is to be General rather than being a specialist in one area
