Why did'nt the Army call in the Air Force and destroy the caves with the 2000 lb guided bombs ?? All the terrorists would have perished in the attact and India and the world would have become a safer place. Why is it that even after so manyyears the Armed forces are still trying to be glory boys. Why can't they shed their differences and fight as a single seemless force ? Why ? Why ? Why ?

Suitable bullet proof jackets can be supplied to to our army,to avoid loss of valuable lives of jawans which took place in this operation.I request army officers to press the Government and get army's genuine demands in protecting our country.Talibans are spreading every where.To meet them we must have the latest weapons than what they have.

Mendhar operation called offBy: K.S.SRINIVASAN | Friday , 9 Jan '09 9:23:52 AM Reply | Forward Are'nt our security forces ashamed to admit that the terrorits holed up in Madhera might have slipped out while they have been claiming that the area has been surrounded from all sides and there are no chances for the terroists to escape. It is also surprising that they are calling off the operation without either capturing or eliminating the terrorists. This definitely calls for a probe.

This failure brings a bad name to our armed forces. Does it mean that tall claims of striking terror camps in Pakistan by Hon.defence minister are simple hoax? As a layman, I feel that a sigle missile attack either throgh missile launcher or through drone would have served the purpose. I vociferously demand an immediate inquiry at highest level.

JuniorBy: Anthony | Friday , 9 Jan '09 0:20:03 AM Reply | Forward this is pathetic and humiliating for every Indian including all of us living in USA, a country of 1.2 Billion people with 3rd largest Army and we could not even kill just 6-8 terrorists sneaked into our country and enjoyed their stay for 8 days and we could not do anything about it? and now we are saying operation has been called off? we are 3rd or 4th largest economy in the world now doesn't our defense forces have thermal devices to detect where they were and take them out? it could have been done within 2 hours of operation without loosing any of our forces how humiliating is this, we are called as back IT hub of the world and we cant even get this done which is pathetic I am ashamed to be Indian an prey to god never ever in my next lives give me birth in India.
