Panna TigersBy: Irfan | Wednesday , 8 Jul '09 14:46:21 PM Reply | Forward It is the failure on the part of the government to protect the tiger, politician don"t care much about the wildlife of the country , they are busy making money. loss of tiger show how weak our establishments are to protect our NATIONAL ANIMAL.LOSSING OUT TIGER IS LOSSING THE MAIN SOUL OF THE FOREST.
Neccessary actionsBy: Venugopal | Friday , 3 Jul '09 15:26:35 PM Reply | Forward The Govt should be made aware of the importance of conserving our forests and wild animals so that it allots a reasonable amount of budget. Forest department is one where people involved should be focused, dedicated and honest towards their responsibilities, which will happen if there is an efficient governing body and also if they are paid well by the Govt. The Dept should appoint young and strong people, provide them all the neccessary equipments and weapons to deal with poachers, regularize their job which would give them job security rather than paying daily wages. Make neccessary amendments to wildlife laws to make it more fearful and stringent. Initiate more co-operation between the Forest Dept and the nature conservationists. Media and common people have a great role to play in saving this magnificent species, Media has to conduct investigations and reveal the loop holes in the functioning of the Dept. We as common citizens should put pressure on the Govt to take actions.
Save innocent living beingsBy: Nisha | Thursday , 25 Jun '09 11:56:37 AM Reply | Forward Are forest officials and poachers appointed to sleep, eat and have fun. These corrupt officials should be charged with huge sum of money and should also be removed from the jobs when they are unable to carry their responsibilities.
Shame !By: Raja | Wednesday , 24 Jun '09 19:06:31 PM Reply | Forward National shame and disgrace ! It is worst than Sariska Episode. Worst of worst. It is tragic and painful to read everyday negative stories about world's largest cats tigers in indian forests. Tigers are not safe in So-called protected areas.Hang all the corrupted forest offficials and Poachers. They are anti-nationals. They are killing indian tigers for Chinese medicine. Hang them all !
Shame on USBy: Mahesh Chopade | Wednesday , 24 Jun '09 18:26:51 PM Reply | Forward The sorry state of shrinking numbers of tigers in India shows apathy of Indian government which cannot protect citizens leave alone tigers. If we want to protect our tigers let's give all the remaining tigers to poor African countries or Iran who, though are poor have the means and will to protect this magnificient and handsome species. Also don't forget to cancel name of tiger as the national animal of India as we are shamefully and disgustingly uncapable of protecting the sanctity of their habitat.
PenaltyBy: Alim | Wednesday , 24 Jun '09 16:12:27 PM Reply | Forward With one Billion population and a few Hundred Tigers , Time to enact Capital Punishment for Tiger , Just as for Humans.
Wastage of FundsBy: John | Wednesday , 24 Jun '09 15:55:23 PM Reply | Forward Totally wastage of tax payers money, we punish, a employee, of pvt. cos., because of his inefficiency, who will punish these corrupted govt. officials, bring criminal charges against them for being a traitor, they are more dangerous than terrorists, who are like termites preying on nations resources, even their pensions should also not be paid, either govt. should privatise this, or dissolve the whole wild life projects, and stop wasting govt. funds.

Poach politiciansBy: Indi | Wednesday , 24 Jun '09 15:43:55 PM Reply | Forward Poachers should stop poaching animals. They can poach politicians. They will get more wealth than they can imagine.
Punish the culpritsBy: Aditya | Wednesday , 24 Jun '09 15:20:35 PM Reply | Forward Wht has happened has happened. There is however no mention of who were the poachers. Both the poachers and the senior officers who sem to have shielded them should be caught and brought to book. I think the centre should take this matter very seriously and use intelligence agencies to identify the network of those trading in tiger skins etc. Some big names would be involved I am sure but the Minister of Environment and Forests should be strong enough to pursue this caes to the end. Its high time now.
