How did he came to conclusion that the criminal is under 18? Even if he is under 18 so what? He is a bloody terrosist who has killed may innocent persons. I think Indian govenrment is unnecessarily speding money and time for this case. If a judge can not decide whether Kasab is guilty or not whether he is terrosist or not in face of such a coverage and confession in front of a magistrate then there is something seriouly wrong with judiciary procedure. Such type of unnessary procedural insistnace (by ignoring the open facts) we have such a large of number of case pedning in the courts.CS Vithlani

So let us forget about the names of the lawyers and their religion and allow the court to proceed and go to the bottom of the circumstances that were responsible for this unacceptable tragedy, no matter where it takes place. Kasab is 100% evil, no doubt about it but he has been a victim of circumstances as Salim is in the movie " Slumdog Millionaire". We have to address also the causes that made Salim a terrorist and only then we can solve the problem of the dispute between India and Pakistan.

So unlike Pakistan defending lawyer is doing his job the way the system is. It is upto the judge to decide the merits of the case. So there is no need to accuse the defense attorney instead be proud that India is not a third world country we still have traces of judiciary left. (Ms sonia is trying her level best to use devide and rule politics which will in turn convert India into a jihadi/vatican state). Unfortunately or fortunately Kasab is innocent until proved otherwise. Until than I hope prosecutor remains strong. Please all readers GO VOTE AND KEEP DEMOCRACY ALIVE.

Kazmi also argued that his client was under 18 years of age, and the court, therefore, had no jurisdiction over his trial. “He is still under 18. In such circumstances he is deemed to be a juvenile and this court has no jurisdiction to try this case,” . In my opinion Lawyers must be mainly for protecting the victims and not protecting the accused if right justice to be delivered. Since Lawyers are called " NYAYAVADHIS " they should maintain to ensure justice and not do injustice to the victims. Unfortunately most criminal lawyers prosper mainly by hodwinking judges by arguements and protecting criminals. This is why India has become a criminals and terrorists' paradise.B S GANESH, BANGALORE
