Extradition to and trial in the USBy: Som Karamchetty, PHD | Monday , 5 Jan '09 7:32:57 AM Reply | Forward Pakistan claims that it extradites terrorists to the Us as it has an extradition agreement with the US but not with India. As US citizens were also killed in the Mumbai attacks, the US could ask for the extradition of the attackers and try them in the US courts. When Mr. Chidambaram visits the US, he should ask the US to try these attackers thusly. US had previously apprehended international terrorists and tried them in the US courts. Death sentences are duly executed in the US. If the Pakistan based terrorists get due justice in the US for their attacks in India, it may be a good outcome under the current circumstances.
