What next?By: EC | Tuesday , 16 Jun '09 9:34:32 AM Reply | Forward On a related topic, let the judicial process take its time. Hopefully someday the terrorist will be convicted. What happens next? Will he be hanged? If our govt is to be believed there are 20 mercy petitions pending before President. This was the reason cited for not hanging parliament attack terrorists, who have been convicted by supreme court. This terrorist will also be one more to that waiting list, who will live happily on taxpayers money for the rest of his life, while our security forces sacrifice themselves for capturing more such terrorists. Not getting into politics of why Govt./President doesnt decide on the petitions, is anyone here even slightly worried of handling such cases on a different judicial track, with fixed time frames, so that atleast people convicted of such heinous crimes are brought to book? If not, why should any terrorist fear our law?I get remembered of the movie Wednesday, and how relevant were the questions posed by it. Alas, public memory is short..

EngineerBy: Janar | Monday , 15 Jun '09 21:21:38 PM Reply | Forward Request to all journalists. Please do not identify the name and display the photographs of witnesses in such terrorist cases. They may be subjected to terrorist attack and endanger to their life.I do not know why our judicial system is not banning such things.
keep collecting evidencesBy: Ajay | Monday , 15 Jun '09 19:25:05 PM Reply | Forward Indian govt will keep collecting and confirming evidence. All this is useless if it is not followed by an action. If the govt doesn't plan to do anything, they could might as well wind up the court.
