Zoos are Prisons for AnimalsBy: Dennis Carlson | Thursday , 6 Nov '08 15:40:23 PM Reply | Forward I"d like to know -- specifically - how a dead stuffed body is of "great educational value" to children or anyone. What, exactly, does a child take away from seeing a dead body of an animal? Surely not to "save" them. This is just one more awful example of humans using animals for their own perverse reasons. Zoos should become extinct. No child leaves a zoo with a newfound mission to save animals in the wild. Zoos are a cheap way to pass some time and keep kids occupied for a little while. Animals do not belong in cages for our entertainment. It's morally indefensible.
