Congress' weekkneed policies.By: Hemendra A. Mehta | Friday , 9 Jan '09 16:00:38 PM Reply | Forward This is not to pass judgement on the issue, one way or another because I am also affected in the cascading effect of the various strikes.. But, does it not betray the Congress menatlity? .Invoke ESMA against our own people and shake in their pants for taking action against terrorists for the sake of vote bank? Why is the Congress hell bent on not acting on the Supreme Court's verdict on that Afzal and wasting our money on of his ilk like Abu Salem? What are they going to do with Dawood Ibrahim and dozens of others whose extradition is being sought. Waste further Crores of our hard earned money on all those?Protect ESMA but, repeal POTA!What kind of government we have been besotted with?
SHOOT THESE B*****DSBy: C.K.Sunil | Friday , 9 Jan '09 15:01:33 PM Reply | Forward What is these bastards are doing! Do they have any conscience. They are striking work while millions are loosing jobs across the country. Truckers are on strike. Rifineries are at the verge of closure. This will happen only in India - a country hoping to become super power!! These strikers would have been soot if it were in China - a country according to our left leaders upholds the right of working class. Our govt. can't do anything. They should be crushed by ordinary people so that no one will dare to go for such an irresponsible strike in future. Our GOVT. SHOULD THINK ABOUT IMPORTING SHIP LOADS OF PATRIOTISM FROM ANY WHERE IN THE WORLD TO FEED OUR CITIZENS!!
govt ? some action please. By: virender yadav | Friday , 9 Jan '09 11:35:49 AM Reply | Forward Indian govt please come to the rescue of common man on the street, his only mistake was he voted for you. People are lined up on almost every petrol pump and there is a total uncertainity all around. Either you concede their demands or take to alternative route i.e. alternate manpower available in abundance, they may be initially new to the work so little inefficient for some time but atleast day to day work will carry on. Just imagine if the dependent house hold do not get gas supply, this way people will go hungry. Request take concrete steps and also keep people informed. Let 45000 people not black mail this country of 100 crore plus.
WHAT WAS DEORA DOING...By: rysk | Friday , 9 Jan '09 20:31:01 PM Reply | Forward Actually its the govt. that is using blackmail. They knew of the demand and knew of the strike but did NOTHING. I would first sack Deora before I take action on Employees...
Pumps going dryBy: Venkatarama Iyer MUTHUSWAMI | Friday , 9 Jan '09 10:52:24 AM Reply | Forward The problem with common tax-paying citizens of this country is that it is either Sarkari blackmail or blackmail by babus (both bada and chotas) holding the country and its people to ransom thru periodic unjustified strikes and damage to our economy. Except for a few honest bureaucrats, most are vastly over-paid and under-employed, both in terms of their "real" capabilities and what they deliver at the end of the day. In fact, we seem not only having a huge behmouth not-cost-effective useless staffing structure to run India Inc, but get ourselves shot in the foot by our inept handling of these guys. Time we realise the effects of our own faults in electing wrong fellows to rule us and this great country for a long time. Jai Hind!
Strike by Patrolium By: R S Choudhry | Friday , 9 Jan '09 9:35:56 AM Reply | Forward It has been a Drama Going on between Government and the Employees. , Common man is suferring due to these strikes. and Politician as a Minister has offered a Lolly pop in the future. The Political parties are now filling their Cash box for the Elections. , There is no dearth of man power in our Country so if the Government feel that Demand are totally unjust than the service may be terminated , Nepal had survived when our Government had terminated the Trade treaty and all the supply from India was stopped. , We must learn to live . with the courrupt Government.
BlackmailBy: K Chaudhuri | Friday , 9 Jan '09 8:28:27 AM Reply | Forward Yesterday you called us terrorists and today we are called blackmailers. Is it because we demanded our rights? Is it because we did not get into a media campaign with lies like the one done against us stating salary of Rs1lakh at entry level?
