Dhami commentBy: jammalamadugu rangan | Thursday , 23 Oct '08 21:02:25 PM Reply | Forward It is really strange that of all the people Sikhsshould compalain about the migrant population. The Sikh are the largest migrants be it in India or any other foreign country. It is the single largest religious group practising their religion and dress code strictly. If British society were to claim that Sikhs are diluting their cultural ethos where they will go.So, better dont lament on this issue, otherwise other communities would pack them back to their holy land: Punjab
Marathis: Beware of RajBy: ujania | Thursday , 23 Oct '08 12:41:51 PM Reply | Forward Raj Thakrey is not a king and Maharashtra state is not under any kingdom. Any Indian any time anywhere can go for livelihood. This man has no right to prevent anyone from entering Maharashtra. Maharashtra is part of India and all Indians have equal rights over it. Marathis beware of this man. He uranating fire and one day he will burn himself and his state too.

Eye Wash Action from Government.By: Sunil Maingi | Thursday , 23 Oct '08 9:06:47 AM Reply | Forward I am not surprised at this. The government has not prepared a strong case against Raj. The court of law only examines what is placed on record before it. There has been no announcement from the government so far, about appeal against the decision of the court. The government should have added murder charge, as one person was killed in the senseless violence incited by Raj. Earlier the state home minister was telling the media, that the government is bringing an ordnance, which will empower the government to recover damages from the people who indulge in violence, but here they did not even prepare the case properly. It seems that the state government wants to prop up Raj as a counter to Shiv Sena. They Congress have done this before. They propped up Bhindrawale as a counter to the Akali Dal, and what happened after that is history. Bhindrawale became too big and a lot of innocents had to die.

IGNORE MARATHIS ALL OVERBy: TONY | Thursday , 23 Oct '08 4:51:06 AM Reply | Forward TO ALL NORTH INDIANS.JUST IGNORE MARATHIS ALL OVER. BE WITHIN INDIA OR OUTSIDE INDIA.
Raj is correct but misrepresented by media and politiciansBy: Bharat | Thursday , 23 Oct '08 3:59:26 AM Reply | Forward What is wrong with fighting for preserving Marathi cultures and values that Raj Thackrey is fighting for? Los of Marathi culture is a loss to India. It would be appropriate to single out Raj Thackrey if indians could go and live in Kashmir. It is the poor quality of current governance that is responsible for this sorry state of affairs. Raj would be hero in any society that believes in its values. Just do not make the mistake of making Raj Thackrey a scapegoat. He will one day rule maharashtra.
BreakBy: KN | Thursday , 23 Oct '08 3:44:17 AM Reply | Forward The only solution to this type of problem is make each state a country and follow strict immigration rules. Raj doesn't knows that floating population brings more money than those living in Mumbai for years. Aditionally, some CM/netas of North states of India do not like development as they believe backwardness is key to kursi/gaddi.
Thackerays are 100 times better then Lallu, Mulayam, Maya and PaswansBy: Sachin | Thursday , 23 Oct '08 2:10:14 AM Reply | Forward For god sake you northies please stop lecturing us and get our states (UP, Bihar) in order by kicking out idiots like Mulayam, Clown lalu, Paswans and Maya. Don't blame Maharashtra for the current situation, its the migaration of the UPites and Biharis to Maharashtra in masses and thus changing the demography and the culture of the whole region is the root of this issue. Nobody has issues when people move around for jobs across the country but guys look at the number of people migrating from UP
