Raju's lucky native village.By: SC Agggarwal | Saturday , 10 Jan '09 14:48:01 PM Reply | Forward The residents of Eluru, the native village of Mr. B.Ramalingam Raju must feel disappointed because of what is going on in Satyam case. However, Mr. Raju needs appreciation for taking care of his native village and did some developmental works in the said village. Now a days people are migrating the villages and after getting education go to big cities and start earning but do nothing for the welfare of their villages. I have seen villages of big industrialists where piped drinking water and sepaate toilets for boys and girls in the school of the said villages are not available. Satyam will againflourish because there is no fault of Satyam Computers. Its shares will again bloom. However, Mr. Raju should not have cooked up the books of accounts. This is very bad.
scam unbelievable.By: Nataraj | Saturday , 10 Jan '09 8:11:31 AM Reply | Forward It seems he is like a fallen GOD. having a good technical back ground it is really a pity to see these developments. But certainly some politicians may be involved.the disgusting part is, now investors cannot believe most of the private companies and also India's good image in IT has been tainted.
Satyam story extravangazaBy: frr | Saturday , 10 Jan '09 1:40:24 AM Reply | Forward What an irony. If people are so naive and selfish to such level how India could become a great country. Also how media is so obsessed with this story. There are so many things happening and media fails to give them due emphasis. No wonder media is no longer trusted same way they don't trust them in US.

He was not got, he is not devil. He is just a human with all weaknessesBy: Sandeep R. | Friday , 9 Jan '09 16:53:51 PM Reply | Forward Who is the reporter to judge 'For the whole world B Ramalinga Raju may be a villain'? I think that Raju is a hero and a contributor to nation building. Has he done wrong? Yes. But does that take away his contribution? No. The growth of IT sector of India changed the way world looked at us for ever. It created wave of educated engineers, did more to convince even the poorest of the lot about importance of education than what government could do in 50 years. It created thousands of well travelled middle class Indians who brought the integration of India to rest of the world. All the boom that we talk about in other sectors is something that has its roots in the software story of 90s. AND RAJU IS A BIG CONTRIBUTOR TO THAT STORY. Yes, he did have weaknesses and is less ethical of some of his peers (but who knows?), but he still is someone who grew this company from 20 employees to 50,000. How many people can claim such achievement in history of our country? Not more than handfuls.
