It now seems prohibition is a stupid policy in Gujarat, where it is easily available made in any quantity you want, but illegally. According to a source, three kinds of liquor are available. At the lowest level is what is called potli [literally, pouch] or latha [liquor] in Gujarati. This is the cheapest and its consumption is often responsible for many deaths.
