Reduce salt intakeBy: R.M.Lakshmanan | Tuesday , 21 Oct '08 12:40:45 PM Reply | Forward Very good article and it is a good message for all in general public. Public should aware of this fact and they should disseminate this message to all others.I am an old Mio-cardian infra. patient and I am regularly following this. I do not have diabetics and hence I am taking care of myself. Doing regular exercise by way of walking daily 40-45 minutes or one hour daily. I am keeping my BP always under control. Dieting is also another factor. Taking breakast, and taking more ve. and fruit items. Lunch will be one apple and in the night also more raw-veg. and fruits, so that I can avoid salt items. But sometimes taking one or two chappathis plus sometimes taking fish-curries. Taking nuts specially, walnuts, almonds, etc, which is also good for the heart.
