mohan swarup ias succumbs to NON_TREATMENTBy: narendra varma | Friday , 12 Jun '09 11:55:34 AM Reply | Forward the treatment - rather non-treatment, both medical and humanitarian, meted out by the so called "24-hour emergency, life-line heart care, ISO-9001 certified hospital" is criminal in nature and reflects the rough shod way the medical fraternity treats ordinary citizens. Apart from criminal proceedings and action like canceling the registration of the guilty doctor and the license of the hospital, I demand the ISO certifying agency to revoke their certification and send advisories to MCI to cancel the registration forthwith so that such callous hospitals do not flourish in India.narendra varma, bhopal
Reply to Dr.GargBy: Animesh Kumar Srivastava | Friday , 12 Jun '09 11:02:42 AM Reply | Forward Dear Dr. Garg,I can better understand what you want to convey, but if doctors cannot provide adequate facilities then why they cliam 24 hour emergency in their nursing homes. Was Mohan Swaroop's family fool when they approached the nursing home.Had they know the fact then they would have taken him to somewhere else. His death was due to medical negligence this I am dead sure.Do you know the hospital people have even refused to supply the oxygen, now what you have to say on this. You are talking about rural people, please tell me how many rural visit you perform every month to see rural patients free of cost? Its all bulshit, medical profession is the most dirty profession today...Give your reply,I am waiting...Thanks!
consultant surgeon, BhopalBy: Dr. B. Garg | Thursday , 11 Jun '09 20:39:06 PM Reply | Forward No hospital in India can refuse emergency care. But before making any opinion, we must seek the version of the hospital doctor also. Most of the private hospitals are run by single-owner doctors in our country and in his absence or illness staff avoids any admission. We have all the guns opened on private doctors but 70% rural population is in the clutches of quakes and no body is bothered for them. We were running our hospital and health foundation since last 15 years and providing all possible emergency care to each
Inhum and shameful actBy: Animesh Kumar Srivastava | Thursday , 11 Jun '09 10:40:46 AM Reply | Forward The death of Mohan Swaroop has exposed the ugly face of private medical treatement facilities in India.By dening admission at such a critical stage the hospital authorities have commited a grave inhuman act.Guilty should be punished at all cost and a law must be passed to bring private medical facilities under a code of conduct, only then we will be able to prevent more tragic deaths as in case of Mohan Swaroop.
