Sadhvi Pragya tortured by ATS, claim lawyers

Suspects have to be treated as innocent till proven guilty. The ATS officers have to be held at a higher standard of abidance of law than the suspects.

If there are issues of irregularities, bias, inhuman treatment those should be addressed via legal council but saying outright that the "implicated person of Interest" is Hindu therefore innocent is a mockery of the judiciary system the judge should send arrest warrant for contempt of court for all individuals partaking in making comments about these bad ulcers to the human society.God bless Police, Army, Judiciary, and democracy in India

The basic assumption is that she is innocent till proved guilty by due process of law, and she has all the rights as any citizen of India has to this and to the right to a good defence. I will not question the credibility of the police at this juncture. What are we trying to mould her into? Do we want to see in her the face of Saffron terrorism raising its ugly head in India, or a Durga giving the Muslims a fitting reply for their terrorist activities? Why do we want to stretch and cut her to fit into either of these roles? Can't we just see her as an Indian citizen accused by the police of certain crimes and deserving a just hearing, and not thrust our own agenda on her? Why vilify or glorify her before you even try to know the truth? Let us insist that the truth come out. There is only one truth. Unfortunately, we as a people have decided that truth does not serve our agenda.
