It doesnt matter what Obama thinks - he's elected by Americans to solve THEIR problems not ours.This mess has been created by Pakistan, Decades of American and Saudi / Arab funding to Pakistan, unreasonable and unethical backing of Pakistan by all Muslim countries purely in the name of religion ,and irrational, evil hatred of infidels (Hindus), Technical and UN assistance to Pak by China, and lets not forget the Bangladeshis. This complicated mess is OURS. These enemies are ours. It does'nt matter how much the UN and other countries talk, we have to think single mindedly about cleaning it up ourselves. With a list this long, we might as well be facing the british at the height of their powers again and we have to think out of the box.
