T | Sunday , 15 Feb '09 12:52:21 PM Reply | Forward While it is all very well to be informed of the happenings in our neighboring country, it is indeed disappointing that talibanisation of parts of our own country go unreported or unheeded. For the past few days, there is an organization called the Popular Front of India, which is holding meetings and other programs in the city of Calicut in northern Kerala, in which the evils of Hinduism and the savior in Islam is highlighted. Tabloids showing brahminical oppression, Aryan colonisation and domination of India, Islam coming to the rescue of the downtrodden masses, are all being shown, in this muslim dominated town. The whole town has been taken over by activists of this organisation from all over the country. The whole show has been actively funded by organizations called the 'Jeddah India Fraternity' and the 'Riyadh India Fraternity', which reveal the foreign hand. Isn't it high time that political parties such as the Congress and the left wake up and stop vote bank politics?
