New Delhi, September 27:: With yet another blast rocking the national capital, BJP demanded the resignation of Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil saying he has no right to be in office in the wake of continuing terror attacks in the country. Response to Dr. Nitin PandeyBy: Sonita | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 20:02:46 PM Reply | Forward Frankly speaking, India is in dire need of Nuclear Power. Despite what everyone says about our PM, I strongly agree that he is taking the right step to ensure India's place in the world. Come on! He is a far better choice than some of the "Holier than thou" politicians we have had in the past. Do you guys have any idea what Nuclear Power would do for India? Wow - can you imagine a day without having to wait for electricity to come back? Gone will be the days of fossil fuel and greenhouse gas emissions. What about the lack of water? How about new jobs that will be created? Come on India - wake up~! Nuclear power in not only good as a destructive power - there is so much more that can be done! And we have to put India in its proper place in the world! If the PM has gone to US - then it is for the good of India - not because he has a personal agenda (to kiss ass as some deem it). Wake up: time to become really globalized! Don't be left behind when the world is rushing for forward
Typical Indian PoliticsBy: Sonita | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 19:55:09 PM Reply | Forward Oh Please! Perfect time for BJP to stand up and have a temper tantrum like small children! Why can't these idiots just unite and support the Minister in hunting these criminals down? Oh, wait, I get it - ITS CALLED POWER STRUGGLE! That is something that starts with "terrible two's" and continues for some to ripe old age, especially when they come in to power. Frankly, apart from some decent politicians, I have yet to like ANYONE AT ALL in Indian politics!! Lets get rid of these old crones and put younger and intelligent people in power for a change - who will ACTUALLY KNOW how to run a country! ENOUGH WITH ILLITERATE AND STUPID MORONS IN POWER~! India is considered the new Super Power, but we will continuously fall back into dark ages until we eradicate these vermin from Indian politics. Enough with people like Mayawati and whatz his name... LAALLOOO - LALLU PRASAD YADAV. India is a super hub of brain power - we could definitely use some on this end.
mehrauli blastBy: DRHVPRASAD | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 19:29:26 PM Reply | Forward shiv was prompt in writing letter to karnataka u/s 355 as a preamble to impose 356.using the same logic can he and manmohan resign qouting their inefficiency in containing terrorism for vote bank considerations.no,they will not.it is their birth right to rule irrespective of their performance.since the top brass of upa is supporting terrorists the simi can elect these people to be their officebearers for further immunity from short arm of law.
save the indiaBy: sumit | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 19:15:39 PM Reply | Forward thats not wright, why someone not to change or in india noone has a power to change the these very nice rule for the terrorist's.
Playing PoliticsBy: Akz | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 18:18:22 PM Reply | Forward This is a time to stick together as a unit, Mr. Vk Malhotra dont play politics at this point.!! Will your government change the home minister after each blast??
STICK TOGETHER FOR KILLING MORE AAM ADMI!!!!!By: A Nair | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 20:35:18 PM Reply | Forward The UPA lead by congress, duely supported by Laloo, Mulayam, Paswan etc do not pass strict anti-terror laws fearing loss of Muslim vote when the Muslims themselves are saying that terrorism has no religion and when whole lot of aam admi who get killed in every blast wants it but you blame Malhotra and BJP. SHAME ON YOU!!!
No fear in TerroristsBy: Sesha | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 18:17:50 PM Reply | Forward It is beacuse of people like Arjun Singh and Vice Chancellor of Jamia millia univerdity, this bomb in Delhi has happened again. Terrorists are given very clear signal by the Government that whatever you do, we will give you all appeasement for the sake of your votes and we don't mind if some of our people get killed also. We must defeat Arjun Singh like people in the elections and teach a lesson.
how to deal with terroristBy: niraj | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 18:44:57 PM Reply | Forward only way to curb terrorism and generate fear in their soul is to punish them in public place, by the public with the support of law,so that they think what happen with them sourece
ShockingBy: Dr Nitin Pandey | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 17:34:21 PM Reply | Forward It is shocking how can any university support people accused of bombing India? And to top it all, the Government supports the VC! This government is shameless and for votes does not mind spilling blood of Indians. When all this is happening, our Prime Minister is in US saying "I love you" to Bush!!
Helpless SecurityBy: Neetu Banga | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 17:34:15 PM Reply | Forward Once again Mehrauli's blast shows, terrorist now weakness of intelligence syastem and they have no fear of Delhi Police. It is time for common man to defend themselves instead of depending on this poorand helpless security. Why not our politician curtail their security and free them for common man who send them in parliament??
Another Blast??By: Rajan Sharma | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 17:25:15 PM Reply | Forward Guys, This is too much. The Home minister must resign amd send him to Himalayas for spending his rest of life in peace. And let Modi handle the situation. We need Modis, not these opportunist old creatures, who do not have the balls to take a stand against Anti National Muslims, fearing the loss of their vote bank. Put all of them in van and send them to Himalayas for Tapasyaa.
Malhotra's commentsBy: Alphonso D' Souza | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 17:11:36 PM Reply | Forward It is very immaturish attitude by a senior BJP Leader to make a statement like this to gain political mileage - ratehr than working with the Government to nab these culprits and punish them. Although we may be world's lagest democracy; however, our political system is quite muddy. Even when innocent people are dying, there is no union among the people to fight terrorism. It sends a clear signal to the people that Mr. Malhotra is eying for the next election? We have to learn some of the basic democratic values from some of the Western Countries - there the Leaders remain one in situations like this.
Which world do you live in?By: Abhi | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 19:11:22 PM Reply | Forward So fuuny to read your message....you are comparing our country with other western nations...have you seen any nation where the govt speaks for the terrorists... This govt doesnot care for the common man... the power hungry Congress can go to any extent to remain in power. Well what else can we expect from a party which cant select an able leader which is not from the Gandhi family! what a pity that even after 50 years people are still supporting a moranchic and "terror-friendly" party which still believes in "divide-and-rule". And i am not supporting BJP, but if i have to choose, i will choose the lesser devil.
‘Terrorists know they will get legal support from Govt’By: Rajesh | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 19:06:11 PM Reply | Forward Work with Government? to do what? Collect money for terrorists? To support this bunch of useless good for nothing sycophants of Sonia? Be reasonable; this Government cannot run a country. Democratic values require opposition parties to criticize government for its wrong policies. And this government is giving enough opportunities to the opposition parties to do that. After the bomb blasts that happened couple of weeks ago this Home Minister said he won't resign as long as he has confidence of Sonia; what is this? Is there no criteria of competency here; all that matters is what Sonia wants? Do you think this can happen in Western Countries?? Please be reasonable
MalhotraBy: situ | Saturday , 27 Sep '08 18:59:40 PM Reply | Forward what else one is to say, sir, when the condemnation of a few skirmishes between Hindus and Christians are treated as a bigger threat than terrorism? There is none to talk and write for the Hindus but lots to do the same for Muslims and Chritsians in this country. The terror cycle in Kashmir started in 1990 when Mufti's daughter went on her own with the terror boy friends of hers; the present cycle of terror started with the repeal of POTA and a freindly regime. This is the regisme where we have a Minister for, of and by terrorists. The entire Cabinet is more keen on absolving MUslims of terror while targetting Hindus
