It gives a feeling amongst thousands of Indian Express' avid readers down the decades that this is not the same newspaper of the days of legendry RN Goenka, Kuldip Nayar and Arun Shouri.

In all probability he must have said so at the instance of the RSS. It has been the practice of the Sangh to defend the wrong doings of its people be he be Godse, destroyers of Babri Mosque, Bajrangi, killer of the professor in Ujjain,people pointed out by the Krisna Commission, the person spitting on the face of the professor,Swami in Orissa or the destroyers of Churches in Orissa,Karnataka or Madhya Pradesh. The RSS is simply using the Sadhus and saffron clad saints to protect it self. It is afraid that sooner or later the ATS investigations will un cover its deep involvements in blasts and other terroristic activities. Sadhus and Babas will do better by distancing themselves from the Sangh and confining themselves to doing the public good they ate doing. Let the RSS bear the brunt of its wrong doings.

Going by your logic, Israel should be called a terror state because it uses force. Why do we forget that the whole idea of jihadis is deep rooted hatred for other religions. This is the whole crux of the problem . What is happening today is a small retaliation, which is definitely un-justified. Unless, those jihadi elements within the Islamic community are brought to book, there is no hope for peace anywhere in the world, forget India, and dont expect people to sit back and relax. There will be retaliation, whether right or wrong.

Col is nothing more than a part of sinister agenda of the Congress party with an eye on election. This action of theirs bolsters Rajnath Singh's argument that the Congress party has been molly coddling minorities (even turning blind eye to their terrorists acts) to get vote. By implicating Sahvi and Lt. Col a new bogey of 'Hindu Terror' is being created. Later we'd be told that see 'Hindu Terror' equals 'Minority Terror' so every community has its hand in terrorirsm so lets not blame the minority. This is flawed thinking and people of 2008 are not fool enough to not see through this smokescreen.

I DON'T THINK THERE IS ANY PROVISION OF BRIEFING MEDIA EVERY DAY BY ATS. I THINK THE EDITORS OF NATIONAL MEDIA SHOULD DESISTS FROM COMMENTING BEFORE THE INVESTIGATION IS COMPLETE.
