Why no mention fo the fact that these fishermen were encroashing lankan waters?By: Senthu | Wednesday , 17 Jun '09 7:24:51 AM Reply | Forward These fishermen only face issues when they encroach upon Sri Lanka's territorial waters. The Rameshwaram fishermen need not live in helplessness if they didn't resort to illegal poaching.Small groups of Tigers still exists. They use fishing vessels such as these, so there will always be an issue when unidentified vessels enter Lankan waters.Use common sense.
