For people who wish to mock him for his thoughts, just try to accept blame once in a while and change yourself instead of trying to change everything around you.

But this piece must surely be one of the most inspiring and sensible pieces to have emerged from the political tragedy that we have witnessed in the last few months in India. Thank you!

Dec. 5 article " To South Mumbai"By: Jiva Mody | Tuesday , 9 Dec '08 11:33:00 AM Reply | Forward Mr. Sitapati, I read the reference to your article in the Sunday (Dec. 7) New York Times front page article by Ms. Somini Sengupta, and have shared it with my friends Mr. and Mrs. Milan Mehta among others. Mr. Harsh Taneja's comments below make some good points. By way of this article, you certainly have helped India, and one hopes the denizens of the syncretic India as well. No, sir, you are not pontificating nor sermonising unless they are synonyms for spelling out the facts. Thank you.

RefreshingBy: Mayank Patel | Monday , 8 Dec '08 3:21:29 AM Reply | Forward Dear Mr. Sitapati, It is very refreshing to read your thoughts expressed in this article, mainly because they urge the reader to see beyond the trite responses that have been put out lately. The "socialism by the elite" instituted by Nehru can still be strongly smelled in the corridors of our government. Ironically, the elite have always scorned the very "Indianness" of India. Your article is one of the few soul-searching ones that have come out recently, and I hope more will follow. Best wishes,MayankP.S. Somini Sengupta, who writes for the New York Times, cited your article in her recent column on the "long-isolated elite" of India.

Very beautifully written, very inspiring, and most of all- it is nothing but the TRUTH. It's time we gather our patriotism spirits that we have lost long back,
