London: Demand for independent war crimes investigations into the "massacre" during the final days of the civil war in Sri Lanka has been intensified amid outrage that Vijay Nambiar, a top aide to UN Secretary-General was aware that over 20,000 Tamils were killed by the army. How much did Vijay Nambiar get from RajapaksheBy: ravi | Thursday , 20 Aug '09 10:31:58 AM Reply | Forward Rajapakshe has given more than 500 crores to vijay nambiar to nullify the masaccare of tamils(20000). Indian Menon, Vijay Nambiar are the people who want money and not peace. Kattacha theevu is in the hands of China. USA wants its base in Triconomalle. The international terrorist USA is playing all the games either in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and so on. Let INDIA wake up.
What is the cost of political domination and human greed?By: pamameen | Tuesday , 2 Jun '09 6:12:36 AM Reply | Forward The massacre of 20,000 Tamils is horrendous. The Sri Lankan leaders should be charged for human right violations. Same thing should apply to similar or more appalling human right violations all over the world. In the case of Iraq, for instance, six years into the operation, 20 lac Iraqis displaced inside the country, 30 lac Iraqis forced to leave the country, 2615 professors, scientists and doctors killed in cold blood,338 journalists dead, and at least 13 lac Iraqis dead since 2003. US$607 Billions have been spent on the destruction of a civilization and Iraq requires at least US$400 billion to rebuild the country. Who is responsible for all these? Is it the cost of regime change? Cost of so called pretentious democracy? We are going to see the same story in the near or a bit distant future in Pakistan, Sudan, Gaza and West Bank, Afghanistan, Venezuela, and in Iran.
Srilankan TamilsBy: Roshanlal | Monday , 1 Jun '09 23:14:11 PM Reply | Forward To all my Tamil brothers: Srilankan Tamils had all the opportunities to enter into a pact with Srilankan Govt. But their leader wasn't ready for truce. So they lost the 1/3 srilanka and now are languishing in refugee camps in their own country. United Nations is famous for inaction. They cannot solve the Kashmir issue, palestine issue etc. Therefore dont rely on them. Now Srilanka is going to settle sinhalese in the newly liberated area. So, difficult days are ahead. How can you expect intervention in a sovereign country? They commited the blunder of killing India's PM and now they are expecting help from the same country. When India cannot give justice to its own people, how do you expect them to give justice to Srilankan Tamils?
money or humanatarianBy: sathya | Monday , 1 Jun '09 10:04:38 AM Reply | Forward all the politicians in india including the ruling party knew wats happening in that raciest country. as the history will speak about this iam scared to be a nation which is supporting the crime. it is the tamils who had made lanka a rich country and all the majority people were fatty food in the name of god and always refused to work. when they have witnessed that tamils are brilliant singalese mind cant take this, so they have decided to take back the wealth with the most cruel way. the country is doing burglary, theft, murder and crime against humanity where all the world country is wating and laughing i feel shamed to be a national of a country which is supporting the genocide country....
India colluded in Tamil massacreBy: Kalai | Monday , 1 Jun '09 7:26:53 AM Reply | Forward As a Tamil, I feel sad that India betrayed us, and stood silent while our brothers were massacred and are still being massacred-silently by the srilankan Govt. India punished the whole Tamil community because ONE tamil organization was responsible for killing ONE indian politician (No doubt killing indian PM is a mistake) India colluded with Sinhalese Govt in, War and also in UN human right resolution. We tamils are shocked by our country's collusion in this Genocide of more than 60,000 tamil civilians killed in just 2 weeks. Tamils are sitting up to watch. We will be saddened more if India does not support UN inquiry into this Genocide. This will again reinforce that Tamils have to befriend other neighboring big powers like China - same like Sinhalese are doing. The so called intellectual PM Singh said "if we don't help SL, they will go to China". Should 60,000 Tamils loose life for India rather than going to China?
Bring to justiceBy: Dinesh | Monday , 1 Jun '09 5:15:52 AM Reply | Forward Petition the US government and some western governments for justice - Others(Russia/China etc_ are merely supporting SL for their own selfish ends. Defense secretary and his brother Sarath who are US citizens should be brougth before war crimes trubunal. US should step in and gather evidence before much gets destroyed and extradite these individuals for murdering a section of their own countrymen and the whole world will regain confidence and poise in the US as one of the last countries still to maintain human rights. For those saying US did this and that - NO US has never murdered its own citizens. Presdience Obama and USA will forever win the admiration and gratitude of about 100 Million tamils worldwide (Tamils inIndia, tamils in Srilanka, diaspora, tamils in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, US and canada). Do it right USA and western governments and others with conscience - it is no time to keep quiet.
Indian citizenBy: freddie Indian | Monday , 1 Jun '09 0:05:27 AM Reply | Forward When a Indian is killed or massarced In India we make a big issue about. When there are everyday 5 get killed by railway accident nobody goes to railway authorities to improve the service. Well India is stupid and there are more idiots in India then abroad. Asked the India politican what action as been taken against the corruption/bribe/gangrapes which are hidden aganist the court of law. Most of the old politican in India talk that he is great leader but behind are back they are going behind prostitute and having fun.
Lankan massacreBy: C2 | Sunday , 31 May '09 20:02:03 PM Reply | Forward For the kiling of one Rajiv Gandhi, lakhs of Tamils have been killed. As revealed by Rajapakshe, he fought India's war and hence India is responsible for the massacre of tamils. Along with Rajapakshe, the role of Manmohan singh, SOnia Gandhi and the COngress party shd be probed. All of them shd be tried for crime against humanity, war crimes and for murder. Until and unless they agree to present themselves for trial in a neutral country, the world should pressurise both India and Lanka.
Is SONIA happy now?.By: Srini | Sunday , 31 May '09 19:40:36 PM Reply | Forward Ask Sonia to read this report. Her thrist for revenge and blood has killed nearly 50000 innocent people and affected the lives of close to 500,000 people. Just wanted to know if she is happy and that her thirst has quelled, if not there are still 200,000 people in the concentration camps. What will you call if at least one kin of those 20 - 50K people thinks to take revenge, terrorism?.
Harsh actions bring Harsh reactionsBy: Paul | Sunday , 31 May '09 18:39:17 PM Reply | Forward Harsh actions bring Harsh reactions.Lanka took harsh steps against the Tamils after the exit of the British fronm Ceylon. The Tea Plantation Tamils were disenfranchised(cant vote ).Singhala was made the official language and the only language. The wonderful Jaffna library was burnt down.Lanka made the Tamils into 3rd class citizens depriving them of higher education and civil service jobs. The pogroms continued all along with attacks , rapes , disappearances, custodial deaths, racial profiling and slandering of Tamils. So with no other go , the Tamils first formed political groups to fight these injustices and then took to armed resistance. The world needs to be aware of all these things before thay start condeming the LTTE or the Tamils. The world should Stop the killing the innocents .So many Tamils are being held behind barbed wire fences -looks like concentration camps!
