shame on politiciansBy: pradeep tiwari | Friday , 13 Mar '09 2:14:12 AM Reply | Forward Millions of thanks to Vijay. Indian government and its currept indians politicians, Bollywood film actors did nothing to bring gandhi's belongings. Politicians make billions of dollars in india and actors collect trilions of dollars from concerts show abroad, they talks a lot about india but do nothing, we as common people can do much but those are rich they can do a lot. However, I am happy that things will go back to india soon, Another lesson india should tke it from that no such valuable things shold be smuglled overseas. I am sorry and in pain that no one can forward except Mallaya to rescue from such a great insult of india, My salute to Vijaya, he got real good motherland spirit- jai hind

Gandhi 's soul would have apprciated if the same money was spent on poor people to make their lives By: gary | Monday , 9 Mar '09 2:27:54 AM Reply | Forward Gandhi was always for poor. His soul would have appreciated if that much money was spent to bring happiness in the lives of few hundred poor people instead of paying this money to rich people. Now they will use more money to promote illegal smuggling of historical things out of India so that they can make more money in future.
Teach our childern to collect our treasureBy: Anil | Saturday , 7 Mar '09 23:33:21 PM Reply | Forward One more thing, why not Shri.Tushar Gandhi and other people who made a lot of noise for Gandhi's belongings, start a movement to train Indian children to collect collectibles including freedom fighters and many other subjects. If they do this, I’m sure in near future a new crop of Indian people will be ready to honor our treasure of Antiquities, Collectibles and memorabilia of Gandhi and other freedom fighters. In foreign countries from child hood many people collect these collectibles; they have many associations, Societies, Collectors clubs, News papers/magazines on antiques and collectibles.I hope some one including Shri Tushar Gandhi listen my voice and will do best for India and India treasures.
Indian treasure and Shri MallyaBy: Anil | Saturday , 7 Mar '09 23:25:35 PM Reply | Forward This very nice that Shri Vijay Mallya bought Gandhi's belongings and he paid very high price for these items, Here I want to say, if Shri. Tusahr Gandhi has been kept his movement confidence to bring Gandhi's belongings back to India by bidding, he should suggest to Indian antiques and collectible lovers to bid Gandhi's belongings. I’m sure that a lot of money could be saved of our Indian antique/collectible lovers like Shri Mallya. Shri Mallya is pride of India. Due to big publicity of these items, items have been bought at very very high price.

Mahatma's Belongings.By: s.santosh | Saturday , 7 Mar '09 13:27:59 PM Reply | Forward Great Vijay Malliya has done a noble job in bringing Baapu's belongings to India. He should be lauded for his efforts.Only cynical shall attribute any motives to his great service to the Nation. The Congress should have been in the forefront for this job of rescuing and securing Pujya Baapu's belongings as the claim Baapu's legacy and are encashing his name or votes and power.Alas! none of the congress biggies and their followers cared to secure the items.
