Once the elections are over, the new government may have to take a fresh look at the foreign policy issues.Developments in the countries around us should definitely bother us. World community of nations should try to reduce the arms race more so of nuclear arms. In this effort, we may have to be cooperative with the world nuclear powers and regulatory authorities.In the present-day world, filled with terrorist groups and leaders with extreme behavioural patterns, availability of nuclear arms and capabilities is quite dangerous. The IAEA, the UN, and major world powers may have to increase their effort to contain nuclear proliferation for the safety of the human race.
