The first one is what is there for the government to consider and decide on this matter when the Court has made a verdict? The High Court has decreed that it is not a mental disorder. Apparently, it recognizes the biological reasoning of the affected population. At the most it could do is to appeal to the Supreme Court to over rule the decision. For too long, religious leaders have used their clout to enforce their will on individuals and the political leadership has succumbed to their pressure. There is no argument that conventions and social order should not be floundered to make way to accommodate this biological necessity. Individuals concerned MUST maintain discretion in respect of public display of affection and should not attract undue attention of children whom we want to raise according to established social norms.

This practice of thousands of years across different societies and religious beliefs all over the world , born out of certain inherrent physiological and psychological factors ,cannot be wiped out by any law. The dictats of certain religious heads may well be perceived by those enlightened, as self-deception; at the best, as attempts to consolidate the hold over their 'flocks' , and inject religion into politics in our secular land we are so proud of.

Are we not going aganist the nature by legalizing homosexuality? This section 377 should not be scraped. It will certainly have a catastrophic effect on our new generation.
