Why doesn’t the US hold a dialogue with Osama?

Am I the only one shocked by an American official daring to suggest ‘dialogue’ with Pakistan in the wake of the release of Hafiz Mohammad Saeed? Why did nobody ask Under Secretary William Burns if his country would be persuaded to have a ‘dialogue’ with Pakistan if Osama bin Laden were similarl  ....Read more

India's attitudeBy: suryaprakash | Monday , 22 Jun '09 12:38:27 PM Reply | Forward Our weak foreign policy making a big price, recent bombay episode, product of it, still we havn'tn realised.we have not hanged objal guru who attacked the parlament, due,to vote bank politics. If our foreign policy continues like this we have to prepared for more attacks, problem is, our inefficient governament. why should?our primeminister talk with pakis, azharmasood is most notorious terrorist, pakistan released him it shows thier concern towards india. americ better understands the pakistan, showing stepmotherly treatment situations prevailing in pakistan.India requires a strong, uncompromisesd attitude,to deal with pakistan. our prime minister must act indipendently
World fantasy-part 2By: Raj | Thursday , 18 Jun '09 22:24:09 PM Reply | Forward What you sow, what you reap. Even though Pakistan is reaping the bitter harvest, it still hasn’t abandoned the desire to use terrorism as an instrument of state policy.Only naive people will buy Pak line on due process of law on the release of Lashkar terrorist Sayeed. Pakis talking about independent judiciary, due process of law, etc is like Osama Bin Laden hitting the lecture circuit to give talks on World Peace and Meditation.Lashkar-e-taiba is the jihadi terrorist wing of Pakistan army, 100% under the control of Pak army. To the extent, Pak army sought the help of LeT to defend positions in the Kargil war.India should focus on economic development as it is doing. “Dialogue” with Pakistan is for international consumption. India should dramatically escalate the cost Pakistan pays for terrorism in India (tip- more consulates i Afghanistan). Keep the powder dry, increase and improve surveillance.Don’t EVER assume paki brain can abandon terrorism as a state policy!
World fantasy-part 1By: RAJ | Thursday , 18 Jun '09 22:21:01 PM Reply | Forward The general tone of western media reporting is such that there is a tiny group of extremists in Pakistan, and the Pakistan state and its people are with the rest of the civilized world in fighting religious terrorism. This is sheer fallacy of gargantuan proportion.Pakistan merely considers “war on terror” as a money making tool, to milk the US/west and the rest of the world. There is no future prospects for any other industrial development in Pakistan, but the “terrorism industry” is very rewarding for Pakistan and it is reaping a windfall of billions of US tax dollars. It is a huge lie to claim ordinary people in Pakistan are against terrorism, etc. Specifically, they are against terrorism in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi. Not in Mumbai,Delhi, Kabul, New York or London! For decades, the so called “moderate” “ordinary” PakIs egged on, cheered on Pak terrorism in India and elsewhere and vigorously claimed they had nothing to do with it.
OSAMABy: faiz ahmad | Thursday , 18 Jun '09 5:02:07 AM Reply | Forward you fools, there is no osama, there is no al-qaida....It was all created by US to fool, fools like you....
what else did u expect?By: shiney | Wednesday , 17 Jun '09 9:46:14 AM Reply | Forward Around 23% of the nuts in this country voted to bring this government to power and all of us will suffer for it.Wasnt this obvious all the time that post election we will start talking to Pakistan? When have we behaved like a strong country in the last 50 yrs? Our intention to be fair is always mistaken and taken advantage of. Wasnt this predictable all the time? We will start talking and then there will be another attack, another shoddy response, another break in talks, again resumption because america tells us to do so. This is xtremely sad but indian foreign policy has become xtremely predictable. Where is Mr. Rahul Gandhi who said terrorists will be taught a lesson on the worth of every indian life after 26/11? How many more lives does he want to give up? Saddest part is the terrorists dont touch these politicians, its always the common people who get impacted. Thats the tragedy.

So what now?By: Arvind | Tuesday , 16 Jun '09 1:09:43 AM Reply | Forward Wow. Nice article. Bang on.Chanakya uvacha"As far as the Indian subcontinent is concerned US is more of the problem than the solution"Hope our MEA babus know this. Anyways the sooner Indians realize this the better it will be for them. For the expectations will then be lowered and every1 can engage in a "realist" foreign policy.
What do you expect from this gov of eunuchs ?By: B Shah | Monday , 15 Jun '09 23:41:19 PM Reply | Forward Indian gov is as effective in producing results as a eunuch is in producing a child.A eunuch may, by miracle of modern science, produce a child, but this gov, will never in a million years produce any lasting change for India. We have been raped, mutilated, tortured, robbed, lied to time and again on issue of J
