Polytechnics needed By: Bharata | Monday , 16 Mar '09 9:39:52 AM Reply | Forward What we need is more polytechnics that offers Learning-by-doing curriculum rather than numerous degree colleges. Once polytechnics are well developed and can produce employable graduates, the so-called stigma of "not-a-graduate" will go. The present BA/BSc/B.Com courses still follow a colonial model of rote learning without any application. Once we have employable diplomates, we can tackle unemployment. Polytechnics are the way to go and not more university degree colleges.
