The last full measure of devotion.By: Kalyan Viswanathan | Thursday , 2 Apr '09 20:51:26 PM Reply | Forward Even as I salute the soldier who gave his 'last full measure of devotion' to his country, in battling its enemies - I also have to express my dis-satisfaction with the Media in India. We seem to be so pre-occupied with Varun Gandhi being arrested under the NSA acts etc, when the real terrorists are entering our country so freely. News Media acts as a propaganda arm for the Congress Party, which is clearly involved in shutting out the Menaka / Varun side of the family of the 'political inheritance' of the Nehru / Gandhi name - while safegaurding it entirely for Sonia and Rahul. We need lot more stories of Soldiers who have given their lives, and who have fought bravely against terrorists to come out in your mains tream newspapers. There is altogether too little of it.

With pride, father fights grief over death of commando son in KupwaraBy: Suresh Rao | Sunday , 29 Mar '09 21:07:44 PM Reply | Forward At last, Indian Express, you have made some progress. For once , you have carried news about soldiers death and the grief of theirfamilies. For so many yeas ,you have been carrying photographs of families of slain terrorists weeping and our Martyers arriving home in coffins draped in the tricolour with Military accompaniement that one would get the impression that soldiers died ungrieved. Keep up the good work , Indian.
