This calls for some gratitude by BJP sympathisers. However, any effort to commandeer State resources and subvert the broadbased development agenda or undermine the collective will of the people is likely to invite serious retribution. The most Reddy brothers can expect is bit of political leeway where in they regularilise their business operations and rapidly ensure legal compliance. If BJP succumbs to or seen as succumbing to unlawful pressures, then the bi-polar polity in India would fail, making roads for Indian Left to emerge as the only credible alternative to INC. The good sense of Kannada Jana does provide bit of leeway to Reddy brother and BJP presently, but only to be back in corrective mode, not for further deviance.
Well Done YediurappaBy: Venkit | Monday , 9 Nov '09 13:28:05 PM Reply | Forward Weel done Mr.yediurappa for showing the guts to stand up to the bullying and strong tactics of Reddy brothers.BJP did the biggest mistake in depending the money and muscle power of Coal mafia and now have to pay a heavy price for it.Let the BJP instead put the trust on common man and build up the organization instead of banking on mafias and industrialists for money.Mr.yediurappa should communicate directly with the common man and adress to their problem instead of reaching out thru mafia agents.he should also immediately sack the Reddy brothers from the ministry and send clear signals that he will not tollerate any more interference in administration.karnataka people have more confidence in Yediurappa and his leadership as he alone build up the party in karnataka to come to this stage.Let him assert now.Thro Reddys out of the state.Let them find some other pastures in AP where their co traveller Jaganmohan is trying the same tactics to come to power

All the factions of BJP won, but the people of Karnataka are the loosers. People are dying of draught, inflation, lethergic government etc., but this government is shamelessly fighting each other, and ultimately came out SQUARE ONE. This government deserves to be thrown out, or else atleast call back the dessent faction in the government, esepecially Reddy brothers how anchored the split drama, and ruined the state.
