HISAR, May 21: Police today arrested former Haryana chief minister, Bhajan Lal, in connection with a case registered against him under the Prohibition Act in Adampur Mandi police station. However, he was bailed out immediately.A case under the Liquor Act was registered against Bhajan Lal following the seizure of liquor bottles from his Adampur residence during a CBI raid in connection with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) bribery case on December 22 last year.

He was questioned by Baljit Singh, SHO of the Adampur police station, for about one-and-a-half hours here this morning.
