Two hours' reprieve for blasts accused

MUMBAI, MAY 21: Designated TADA court Judge P D Kode today allowed Farrok Pawale, an accused in serial bomb blast case to attend the 40-days religious ceremony of his deceased brother at his residence in Mahim, north-central Mumbai for two hours on May 28. Defence advocate Abba Kazmi, who appeared on behalf of accused informed the court that Pawale's younger brother died last month and his 40 days religious ceremony will be held on May 28. And requested the court to allow him to attend the ceremony on humanitarian grounds. Judge Kode, in his order said that Pawale should be taken for two-hours in heavy police bandobast at his residence. Pawale is in custody since last more than two years and was allegedly involved in Air India building bomb blast case.
