Anti-terrorism day observed by Congress

MUMBAI, May 21: Congressmen today pledged themselves to safeguard national integrity and marched to the Hutatma Chowk here, on the occasion of the sixth death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, which they observed as ``anti-terrorism day.'' The national integrity oath was taken at a function organised at Tilak Bhavan, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) headquarters at Dadar. MPCC president Sushil Kumar Shinde presided over the function at which Rajiv Gandhi's portrait was garlanded. Mumbai Pradesh Youth Congress workers sported black bands in protest against incidents of terrorism in various parts of India and marched from Azad Maidan to Hutatma Chowk waving the party flag amid chants of ``Rajiv Gandhi Amar Rahe.''
