Markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has ordered a freeze on the assets of CRB Mutual Fund. It has asked IIT Custodial Services Ltd, the custodian of CRB Mutual Fund, not to dispose of any of the securities held in the portfolio of its only scheme, Arihant Mangal.

ITC to don corporate governance mantle
The ITC board has decided to adopt corporate governance, making it the first professionally managed company to do so. A management committee comprising executive directors and heads of key divisions for its implementation will be set up soon.

Bridgestone to hike stake in venture with ACC
Global tyre giant Bridgestone is hiking its stake in Bridgestone ACC India from 51 to 64 per cent, while Mitsui of Japan is picking up 10 per cent. This will result in a sharp reduction in ACC's equity stake from 49 per cent to 26 per cent.
