Headway in Patil case

PUNE, May 22: The Yerawada police on Wednesday found proof establishing Bhagvat Kale's involvement in the killing of the Patil family at their Kalyani Nagar residence, with the recovery of a briefcase containing Rs 2.5 lakh at Washi village in Osmanabad. The police have also found five witnesses, most of them labourers at the Princetown Town project site where the Patils' were murdered. They claim to have seen Bhagvat inside Patil's flat at the time of the crime. Kale had tried to bribe the eye witnesses, said Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ramrao Pawar.
