Aurangabad hit by dengue

AURANGABAD: An outbreak of dengue fever has been reported from at least six places in the district with over 400 confirmed cases, the district health officer Dr Prabhakar Bade disclosed on Thursday. However, no deaths have been reported so far. Cases had been detected in Soyagaon, Sillod, Paithan and Kannad tehsil. One of the chief reasons for the outbreak is use of contaminated water usually stored over a long period.

NEW DELHI:Moderate to heavy turnout of voters marked the byeelections to three Lok Sabha and nine Assembly seats spread over eight states and East Delhi which passed off peacefully on Thursday.
