MADURAI, June 17: As hand grenades exploded in an illegal bomb unit at Ammapuram in Chidambaranar district, two persons were killed on the spot, and two others were injured seriously. The unit, in which the explosives were manufactured, was housed at a cattle shed in the backyard of a house, and was destroyed completely, the police said.
