BANGALORE, July 3: Both government and non-governmental organisations must join hands to work for eradication of child labour, said Khurshed Alam Khan, Governor of Karnataka. In his speech at a seminar on 'the role of voluntary organisations in eradication of child labour', which was read inabsentia, the Governor expressed concern over the exploitation and abuse of children.
