Holy Family, playing their first league match today, have started on a positive note with this convincing victory. Saki Village Boys were totally nonplussed by Holy Family's initial surge.

The first goal came as early as in the 10th minute of the first session. Centre-half Anand Sutar scored the goal through a direct hit, after tackling the Saki Village defenders al on his own. The diminutive goalkeeper Biju Rappai was nowhere in the path of the ball's trajectory, which was shot a good 20 yards from the post.

While Saki Village Boys were still reeling under the second goal shock, Holy Family struck again in the very next minute through a corner taken by striker Glen Rodriques.

Left-winger Edgar Perreira scored on this occasion with a fine header. At half time Holy Family led by three goals.

Saki Village Boys were able to register a goal early in the second half through mid-fielder Vinay D'Silva. Holy Family defender Chetan Solanki, who was between the goalkeeper and D'Silva while trying to stop the ball, deflected it into the net.

Facing a two goal deficit, Saki Village replaced their goalkeeper. Yet, they could not stop Rollan Almeida from scoring the fourth goal for the winners with a left footer, midway through the second session.

After today's match, Saki Village Boys have two points from two matches and Holy Family have two points from one match.
