NEW DELHI, August 1: Top seed Abhishyam Gupta (Air-India) made light of his rivals as he scored fluent victories to storm into the quarter-finals of the men and junior boys sections in the Rs 5 lakh prize money Air-India Open Badminton Championship here today.

In fact the championship is turning out to be an Air-India show.Of the eight quarterfinalists in the men section, five are from Air-India and three from Punjab. In the women's section seven are from Air-India and one is from Punjab. In the junior boys section, four are from Air-India.
