PUNE, August 14: The Ahmednagar-based Sai Surya Netra Seva foundation, Rotary International and Maharashtra Ophthalmic Society will jointly organise the `Gift of vision to freedom fighters,' a unique national level programme of vision correction as a sign of gratitude towards those who fought for India's freedom, on the golden jubilee of the country's independence.

The primary reason behind the programme is to provide better vision to freedom fighters who have made supreme sacrifices, said a press handout by Dr Prakash Kankariya from the foundation.
