Sharad Joshi may join hands with Sena-BJP

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
AURANGABAD, January 15: Avoiding to give any unequivocal statement, Shetkari Sanghtana leader Sharad Joshi today indicated that his political front, Swatantra Bharat Party might go in for a pre-poll alliance with the Sena-BJP. Joshi said though the only formal talks he had so far was with the United Front leaders, he was not averse to accepting support from any party.

The only positive statement made by Joshi in his 30 minute press meet was that he had found in Manohar Joshi a Chief Minister who not only understood the problems of farmers but also had taken quick steps for their remedy.

Releasing the manifesto of his party, which would contest in all 50 seats in the ensuing polls, 18 of them from Maharashtra. Sharad Joshi said, he himself would not be contesting, in view of a decision to this effect by the party.

Sharad Joshi came down heavily upon the Congress for projecting Sonia Gandhi.
