CII exhibition on textile technology

CHANDIGARH, January 15: Making its foray into the textiles segment, the Confederation of Indian Industry, Northern Region, is for the first time organising Tex-Tech `98, a three-day exclusive show on spinning machines, accessories and yarn processing, at the CII building, here from January 16 to 18.The show will focus on the latest developments in the textile industry, which has emerged as the single largest net foreign exchange earner for the country. It will be formally inaugurated by D.P. Bagchi, the additional secretary and financial adviser, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, on January 17.
