Anti-periphery Act panel meet 

 
S.A.S. NAGAR, January 15: The Anti-Periphery Act Action Committee held a meeting at Dao Village near here today on the occasion of Maghi Mela to mobilise support for the mass dharna to be held at the Chandigarh Housing Board Chowk on January 22.

While addressing the gathering, G.S. Jammu, convener of the Action Committee, has given a clarion call to the people to participate in the dharna. The action committee wanted relaxation in the Periphery Act by making suitable amendment in it. uCNWhile demanding regularisation of built-up houses, Jammu demanded extension in the village boundary line on the basis of a survey conducted by PUDA.
