These consist of 24 Param Vishisht Seva Medals, three Kirti Chakras, one Uttam Yuddh Seva Medal, 42 Ati Vishisht Seva Medals, two Vir Chakras, 21 Shaurya Chakras, 71 Sena Medals (Gallantry), six Nao Sena Medals (Gallantry), 21 Sena Medals (Devotion to Duty), eight Nao Sena Medals (Devotion to Duty), 14 Vayu Sena Medals (Devotion to Duty), one Bar to Vishisht Seva Medal, 103 Vishisht Seva Medals and four Mention-in-Despatch. Ashok Chakra: 2nd Lieutenant Puneet Nath Datt (Posthumous): Born on 29th April 1973, 2nd Lt Datt of 1/11 Gorkha Rifles died in July last year in an encounter with militants in Srinagar. He is reported to have stormed a fortified militant hideout, killing three ultras and destroying a large quantity of ammunition.
