Vice Admiral awarded PVSMVice Admiral Sushil Kumar, vice-chief of the Naval staff has been awarded the Param Vishist Seva Medal on the ocassion of Republic Day. He has earlier been awarded the Uttam Yuddh Seva Mandal, Ati Vishisht Seva Mandal and Nao Sena Medal (Gallantry). He has been Director of Naval Operations, Flag Officer Commanding, Maharashtra Naval Area, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff, Fortress Commander Andaman and Nicobar and Chief of Personnel.
