NEW DELHI, Jan 29: Reshmy R Nair of Shri Ram College of Commerce won the women's singles and mixed doubles crowns in the 18th Claudine Thevenet Table Tennis Tournament, organised by Jesus and Mary College. In the singles final, Reshmy beat Ravjeet Kaur of St Stepehn's College while in mixed doubles she partnered Rajiv Ghai to defeat Parul Lau and Gagandeep Singh Mehta. The third title, however, eluded the Delhi state player when she lost the women's doubles final. Reshmy and Alpana were beaten by Parul Lau and Ravjeet Kaur in three games.
The men's singles title was won by Sandeep Sharma of Jamia Millia Islamia who beat Inder Mohan of Khalsa College in four games.

For 3rd place: Pallavi Luthra (Jesus and Mary) bt Sulochana Dassanayake (Daulat Ram) 21-19, 21-17; Women's doubles (final): Parul lau and Ravjeet Kaur (St Stephen's) bt Reshmy R Nair and Alpana (Shri Ram College of Commerce) 19-21, 21-18, 21-17; Mixed doubles (final): Rajiv Ghai and Reshmy R Nair (Shri Ram College of Commerce) bt Parul Lau (St Stephen's) and Gagandeep Singh Mehra (Shri Ram College of Commerce) 14-21, 21-16, 21-17.
