India to participate in bridge festival

SHARJAH, February 2: India along with eight teams- Syria, Egypt, Kuwait, Pakistan, Lebanon, Bahrain, Oman and host UAE - will take part in the 6th Annual Bridge Festival starting here from tomorrow.India's challenge is spearheaded by Rego/Visu's team comprising AS Vishwanathan, Shyamsunder, SK Iyengar, R Krishnan and Derek Rego. Of these Krishnan, Iyengar and Vishwanathan have ample international exposure. Other Indians in the fray are Subir Roy, Ian Concessio, JM Shah, Sonal Pakvasa and Yvette Singapuri.
