Pawan sparkles for Agrasen

PUNE, FEBRUARY 9: It was Pawan Gangawati's day all along as he took Agrasen to a comprehensive 30 run victory over G S Moze in the Sir Dinshaw Petit Invitational cricket tournament which was played at the J N Petit ground here today.

Pawan bagged all honours with his excellent batting, emerging the highest scorer of the day with 64 runs. And he kept it up with equally impressive bowling figures, bagging four wickets for the cost of just 19 runs. Batting first, Agrasen put up a target total of 140 for G S Moze, before being all out in 25.1 overs.

Agrasen: 140 all out (Avinash Bagade 10, Pawan Gangawati 64, Muhammad Tamboli 26, Prashant Nikale 2/25, Shashikant Rathod 2/24, Vikas Rathod 4/36, Dinesh Rawalkar 2/11) beat G S Moze: 111 all out (Atmaram Wagh 12, Dinesh Rawalkar 18, Rabish Tambi 13, Navnath Nivanguli 12, Pawan Gangawati 4/19, Vivek Thombe 3/10, Avinash Bagade 2/14)
