RPG to sell stake in automation JV
ENS ECONOMIC BUREAU
MUMBAI, February 13: The RPG group has decided to move out of office automation business and is divesting its entire 34 per cent in RPG Ricoh, the joint venture office automation company, in favour of the Japanese major. The proposed divestment forms a part of the group's decision to stick to the knitting and gradually move out of non-core activities. The group restructuring plan drawn up by consultants Mckinsy had recommended divestment from hardware business and instead concentrate on being a service provider.Copyright © 1998 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
