Bangalore, March 20: Cyrus Taraporvala-trained Royal Aberdeen who failed to run true to expectations in the Classic Sprinters Cup at Hyderabad, is fancied to win the 1400 metres Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Cup, a rich terms race for four year olds and over, the main event of the concluding day's Bangalore Winter Races, programmed for Saturday.The Tecorno-Fire Phoenix four year old colt Royal Aberdeen has thus far not won over seven furlongs as all his wins have come over a sprint but considering his style of running, the extended trip is well within his compass. Imperial Leader who is well placed in scales should run the favourite close.
